Hier zal medio 2023 een register worden geopend waar de cursisten van de opleiding Certified Ethics Compliance Officer, nadat zij het examen hebben behaald worden opgenomen.
De opleiding Certified Ethics Compliance Officer zal medio 2023 voor het eerst gegeven gaan worden. Dit is ook de reden dat het Compliance register nog geen geregistreerde geslaagden cursisten heeft opgenomen.
De titel, aanduiding of letters CECO is een afkorting van Certified Ethics Compliance Officer. CECO is niet gekoppeld aan een officiële erkende opleiding of titel of afkomstig van het ministerie van onderwijs cultuur en wetenschappen, zoals dr, ir, mr, drs, ing, bc.
Met de titel CECO word je in staat gesteld om de vakbekwaamheid in de beroepsgroep aan te tonen.
Het certificatieplan van de opleiding Certified Ethics Compliance Officer is in mei 2022 ter beoordeling ingediend bij het Centrum voor Post Initieel Onderwijs Nederland (CPION). Op 21 juli 2022 heeft de toetsingscommissie van CPION een positief advies afgegeven voor de registratie.
Het advies is door het bestuur van de Stichting Permanente Educatie Nederland (SPEN) overgenomen. Als gevolg van dit besluit komen de studenten aan de opleiding Certified Ethics Compliance Officer in aanmerking voor het officiële diploma van deze Stichting.
De opleiding Certified Ethics Compliance Officer mag het predikaat SPEN registeropleiding gebruiken.
SoSecure zal in gesprek gaan met CPION om de opleiding internationaal te erkennen. Let op, vooralsnog heeft dat gesprek nog niet plaatsgevonden. Het opleidingsniveau van de opleiding wordt ingeschat op hbo.

The Certified Ethics Compliance Officer course will be offered for the first time in medio 2023. This is also the reason that the Compliance register has not yet included registered graduates.
The title, designation, or letters CECO is an abbreviation of Certified Ethics Compliance Officer. CECO is not linked to an officially recognized training or title or comes from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, such as dr, ir, mr, drs, ing, bc.
With the title CECO you will be able to demonstrate professional competence in the profession.
The certification plan of the Certified Ethics Compliance Officer course was submitted for assessment to the Center for Post Initial Education in the Netherlands (CPION) in May 2022. On July 21, 2022, the CPION review committee issued a positive recommendation for the registration.
The advice has been adopted by the board of the Netherlands Permanent Education Foundation (SPEN). As a result of this decision, students in the Certified Ethics Compliance Officer course are eligible for the official diploma of this Foundation.
The Certified Ethics Compliance Officer training may use the SPEN register training designation.
SoSecure will enter into discussions with CPION to recognize the training internationally. Please note, that conversation has not yet taken place. The educational level of the program is estimated at HBO.
